Talanta Stadium Funding Underscores Strong Investor Confidence as Linzi FinCo 003 Trust Closes Oversubscribed KES 44.79 Billion Infrastructure Asset-Backed Securities Programme
Nairobi, Wednesday, 2nd July 2025 – Linzi FinCo 003 Trust is pleased to announce the successful close of its KES 44,791,000,000 Secured Medium-Term Notes under the Linzi 003 Infrastructure Asset-Backed Securities Programme. The proceeds from this transaction will be used to finance the construction of the Talanta Stadium, one of Kenya’s landmark sports infrastructure projects aimed at nurturing talent and supporting national development.
The offer period, which closed on 30 June 2025, drew exceptional investor interest with applications totaling KES 44,875,600,000, surpassing the target amount and achieving an impressive subscription rate of 100.19%. Securities will be allotted to investors on a pro rata basis.
The 15-year notes, rated AA(KE)(IR), offer an attractive annual return of 15.04% and are scheduled to mature in 2040. The notes will be listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) on 8 July 2025, enhancing their tradability and market visibility.
